Watch collectors fall into a host of different categories that cover almost any aspect of a timepiece. Whether brand or mechanism, complication or design, collectors and enthusiasts like to find a hook that engages them more deeply in the watch of choice.
Where some collectors may waste their time splitting hairs over a movement’s provenance and whether or not a particular movement is fully “in-house” or not, other, more knowledgeable enthusiasts couldn’t care less and appreciate looks and performance above all else. It is for these collectors we present the VSDIAL collection.
Individually made by a single craftsman based in Hartford CT., VSDIAL watches can be supplied from existing themes or they are happy to work with you one on one to bring your own vision to life. And unlike what you might expect from one of the big brands, a VSDIAL watch is within reach of most avid watch lovers with entry prices for simpler versions starting at $1,750. Currently the most expensive variation available at www.vsdials.com is a handsome blue Macaw dial for a modest $2,250.
As you can see the their grand Feu dials range from the monochromatic looks of deep blacks and lily whites, to the full spectrum of colors integrated into the scene of your choice. Custom work is a specialty, but of course the complexity of the imagery will dictate the final pricing. Existing models feature the Swiss automatic Sellita SW 200 movement inside an individually numbered 39mm stainless steel case rated to 5atm.
