In Memoriam

No event instills and reminds us of the ephemeral nature of our own humanity than the untimely loss of a friend or family member.  Working and playing together for the last eighteen years, Stu Hubbard was both. Although not related by blood, Stu was like a brother to me. He had a keen wit, a kind heart, and went above and beyond to help his friends with no thought of recompense.

Facing challenges in his life that would have broken lesser men, Stu found a way to bring life and light wherever he went, regardless of his own troubles.

Having cleanly beaten cancer twice before, Stu was actually in fine fettle as of March 2017 when we worked together at the Baselworld fair. Shortly upon our return he was diagnosed with a ruthless form of esophageal cancer. Sadly, Stu’s third bout with the cruel disease was his last.

Born on March 16th 1962, I lost my wingman on February 9th 2018.
He will be missed.
