We have it on pretty good authority that one of our favorite brands is making a comeback to the US this year! Lip is famous for many reasons, but most intriguing to us is that they have brought their manufacturing back to Besançon, France and are making some great new watches as well as some of the ones they are famous for - such as the Mach 2000.
The Mach 2000 made its debut back in 1975 and in many ways has managed to capture a moment. It was the child of designer Roger Tallon and in many ways remains emblematic of Lip these many years later.
Measuring 42 x 40 mm it is a bi-compax quartz chrongraph with the date window at 6 o'clock.
The strap is of leather but can also be had in rubber or as a bracelet.
